For their couple’s session, Laisa and Aaron chose a unique location: the Yuma County Courthouse parking garage in the heart of Downtown Yuma. Surrounded by architectural lines, concrete walls, and the warm glow of golden hour, we created a modern and authentic gallery filled with personality.

A Love Story with an Urban Style



From the beginning, Laisa and Aaron brought a relaxed energy and a clear vision: they wanted photographs that felt different and reflected who they are as a couple.

Their casual outfits complemented the urban setting perfectly. During the first part of the session, their light-colored tops and jeans created a fresh, modern look. Later, they changed into baseball jerseys, adding a fun and personal touch to their photographs.

Instead of focusing only on traditional poses, the session was centered around their connection—walking together, exchanging glances, holding hands, and simply enjoying the moment. Those small gestures made every image feel natural and genuinely theirs.

We planned the session during golden hour, when the sun begins to set and the light becomes warm and soft.

Inside the parking garage, sunlight streamed through the openings in the structure, creating dramatic shadows, bold contrasts, and geometric patterns. The combination of light and architecture allowed us to create photographs with a cinematic and editorial feel.

As the sun moved closer to the horizon, we also explored the rooftop of the parking garage. From there, the open sky and Arizona mountains appeared in the distance, adding depth and a touch of Yuma’s desert landscape to their story.
