A Pre-XV Session Full of Magic 💙


Some sessions are elegant. Some are fun. And some feel like stepping straight into a storybook. ✨

For Giselle’s Pre-Quinceañera session, we traveled to Rancho Linares in Baja California to create something that felt colorful, elegant, and full of personality.

Giselle absolutely rocked her session. Her incredible blue quinceañera dress looked amazing surrounded by all the greenery at Rancho Linares, and every corner gave us something different to work with.

We played with the beautiful pathways, wooden architecture, stairs, gardens, and natural light to create portraits that showed off not only the dress, but Giselle herself.

And of course, we had to add a little fantasy. 🫖✨

One of the coolest parts of the session was creating a scene inspired by Alice in Wonderland. It gave us a chance to step away from the traditional Pre-XV portraits and create something fun, different, and completely unexpected.

Why Rancho Linares Was Perfect for This Session

One of the things I love about photographing quinceañeras is finding locations that give us variety.

Rancho Linares, Baja California gave us exactly that.

The lush gardens created a beautiful contrast with Giselle’s blue gown, while the rustic wooden structures added warmth and texture to the photos. We were able to go from classic quinceañera portraits to more creative images without ever losing the overall feel of the session.

That variety is what makes a Pre-XV session so much fun.
